Selected for the 2024 Undergraduate Juried Exhibition
During the summer of 2023, I participated in a University of Delaware-funded research program, working alongside my mentor and Professor, Ashley Pigford. My focus was on understanding how culture and location impact an artist's creative voice, as well as exploring videography and animation. I aimed to create an experimental animation, 'A Day at the V&A,' reflecting on my time in London. The final video was animated in Procreate, edited in Adobe After Effects, and finalized in Adobe Premiere Pro.

Animation experimentations

After returning from London, I collaborated with my mentor to plan my next steps. We decided that for the next two weeks, I would engage in daily video experiments using Adobe After Effects. This exercise helped me become proficient with the tools while utilizing content from my London trip. In our follow-up meeting, we agreed to shift towards narrative graphic animations. I incorporated short stories and journal writings into my creations, expanding into hand-drawn animations using Procreate alongside After Effects.
