[oh-ver-grohth]
"a growth overspreading or covering something"
Overgrowth is a typeface inspired by, and aims to capture the essence of trees, nature, and the forest. The letterforms themselves are created using an oak twig suspended by string, dipped in diluted ink. This method yields naturally organic shapes that are reminiscent of gnarled, sharp, wiry tree branches, due to their variation in line weight and asymmetry.
